FP-428 features metal wired note clips and flexible storage space including a cheque slot, 5 note and 8 coin slots (slots bigger than the standard FP-100 drawer), and coin storage below insert. 8 key lock combinations. Spare key sets are available for various key lock combinations.

Cash drawers are available in 12V (powers via terminal) or 24V (powers via printer). Cash drawers are available in black.
